We are delighted that you will be soon converting to our Entegra Bank brand. We want to make this transition as smooth as possible for you. You can look forward to seeing familiar faces in the same places—the people you know at your branch will join us at Entegra Bank.

Entegra Bank’s roots go back many years. In our case, we began in Macon County, North Carolina, back in 1922—ninety-six years ago. We have a long tradition of putting customers and their communities first. We are excited to welcome Chattahoochee Bank and its Gainesville office into our branch network now numbering 18 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. When will the transition happen?

The conversion to Entegra Bank operating systems will happen during the weekend of March 16–19, 2018. That means that all Chattahoochee Bank deposit accounts will become Entegra Bank accounts on that date. You will also see the signs at the Gainesville location change over the weekend.

Transition Timeline:

Timeframe Event
Week of March 5 Entegra Bank mails new debit cards and checks to checking account customers. These items will arrive in separate mailings.
Thursday, March 15 at 4:00 p.m. Chattahoochee Bank online bill pay is disabled.
Friday, March 16 The Gainesville branch of Chattahoochee Bank will close early at 2:00 p.m.
Friday, March 16 at 4:00 p.m.
  • Chattahoochee Bank’s online banking will no longer allow transactions.
  • Customers will still be able to view their accounts, but online banking will be in view-only mode.
  • Customers should begin using their Entegra Bank checks and debit cards.
Monday, March 19
  • Chattahoochee Bank’s debit cards will no longer work.
  • Gainesville branch will open as Entegra Bank.
  • Customers can log in to online banking and online bill pay at
  • Customers can call Entegra Bank Telephone Service Center at 800-438-2265 (800-GET-BANK) ext. 2527 with questions about their accounts after 7:30 a.m.

How will my accounts be affected?

We have prepared a Customer Guide that includes product-by-product description of how your accounts will be affected by the transition. We have also prepared important disclosure booklets for consumer accounts and business accounts which contain all of the legal disclosures that apply to your accounts.
